Houston Raceway Park benefits from incredible atmospheric conditions because of its proximity to Trinity Bay, which feeds the facility cool air. The track’s first ÎçҹѰ»¨ national event, in fall 1988, established the track as one of the sport’s quickest with ÎçҹѰ»¨â€™s first four-second Top Fuel quarter-mile pass. Since then, the track has hosted a dizzying array of record runs and its pandemic-forced move to the cool climes of late October this year and its position as the penultimate event of the year should only enhance its reputation.

How to Get There: Baytown is 25 miles east of downtown Houston. From downtown Houston, take I-10 east to SH 146 (Exit 797) and go south to FM 1405 (approximately 2 miles). Take FM 1405 east (left) to FM 565 and take another left. The racetrack will be one mile east on your left.
